Jim’s wide experiences have taken him from a national bank trust department to his current role managing the Corundum Trust Company. He has served the Corundum Group clients since 1992 and has his Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor Designation. He was appointed and still serves on the South Dakota Governor’s Trust Task Force.
Jim is uniquely suited for the strategic thinking required for his role. Having experienced mild hearing loss and the related need to occasionally rely on lip-reading has made Jim adept at figuring out ways to adapt to situations and solve problems creatively. Just as life’s challenges often do, it’s been exactly what’s led him to develop his most useful skills.
Jim’s passion for family and all things outdoors is clear at home, where he and his wife raised four boys. Today, the quietness of the rural setting is punctuated by life with three dogs, three chickens, and five cats.
